Teresa Rose is the founder and President of Western Ohio Mortgage Corporation this year she celebrates 36 years in the lending industry!

Teresa started in the lending world at Miami Valley Bank as a teller. In less than 10 years she moved up the ranks to be Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Lending. From MVB she became a Senior Mortgage Originator at Five Star Mortgage.


In 1999, Teresa realized her dream of owning a small business and fused it with her passion for mortgage lending by opening Western Ohio Mortgage Corporation.

In the last 21 years Teresa has grown WOMC from a small mortgage bank with a handful of employees to a multi-state, multi-branch corporation with over 50 employees. 

Teresa has served as an officer of and has many designations from different organizations including: Fannie Mae Housing Institute, American Institute of Bankers, Ohio Association of Mortgage Professionals, Ohio Association of Mortgage Bankers and Midwest Ohio Association of Realtors. She is an approved Direct Endorsement Underwriter with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and an approved VA Underwriter. Teresa recently served as the President of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers  from 2018 to 2019.   She also is one of less than 100 professionals Nationwide, to receive the Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional Designation.

Teresa’s work ethic is based on solid principles. She believes in doing business as if your transaction is her own.
